Location: Hybrid (3 days in Shedfield, Southampton / 2 days Remote)


The Role Overview


ThinkEngine is looking for a driven, organised, and creative individual to join our award-winning team. This is a unique dual-role, split 50/50 between Executive Assistant duties (supporting the leadership team and business operations) and Digital Marketing delivery (creative, marketing, and client support).


This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves variety. One hour you might be managing the leaderships team schedules or streamlining internal processes, and the next you might be designing social graphics, building automation workflows, or analysing client SEO performance. Key Responsibilities


This role is split into two core areas:


1. Executive Operations & Support (50%)


You will act as the "right hand" to the leadership team, ensuring the business runs smoothly.


Diary & Inbox Management: Organising Directors’ schedules, booking meetings, and filtering/prioritising email communications to ensure efficiency.

Client Liaison: acting as the first point of contact for key clients, handling administrative queries, and ensuring high levels of service.

Project Operations: Assisting with the tracking of client projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and helping to manage resource allocation (traffic management).

Internal Admin: Overseeing administrative/office tasks for our team, preparing meeting agendas/minutes, and assisting with basic finance admin (expenses/invoicing/bookkeeping preparation).

Process Improvement: Proactively spotting ways to improve internal workflows to supercharge the team's productivity. We want to hear your input - don’t hold back!

2. Digital Marketing Delivery (50%)


You will get hands-on with client accounts, learning and implementing the latest digital strategies.


Content Creation: Designing assets for social media and digital campaigns (using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud) and writing engaging copy etc.

SEO & Analytics: Implementing on-page and technical SEO updates, and using analytics platforms to build performance reports for clients.

Website Management: Updating content via CMS platforms and ensuring client websites remain current.

Marketing Technology (MarTech): Utilising AI automation workflows, setting up conversational marketing tech (AI Chatbots), and harnessing data to improve client ROI.

Email Marketing: Designing and scheduling email campaigns.

Idea Generation: be creative and develop ideas to client projects and internal delivery across ThinkEngine and our sister company, Cogs AI.

Desirable Skills & Attributes


We don't expect you to know everything on day one, but we need you to have the right mindset and foundation.


Highly Organised: You naturally bring structure to chaos. You are dependable, punctual, and can manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball.

Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office/365 and MacOS. Experience with a Website CMS (e.g., WordPress, Wix etc) and design tools (e.g., Canva/Adobe) is highly desirable.

Strong Communicator: You have excellent written and verbal English, comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and clients.

Proactive Attitude: You don't wait to be told what to do; you spot problems and suggest solutions. You aren't afraid to challenge us with new ideas.

Discretion: As an EA, you will handle sensitive business information with confidentiality and integrity.
